Circle 3.6 - 11/26/2025

New Features

  • [PREMIUM] You can now change your Premium bots' bio in your server too, just like you can change the profile picture and username.

Premium per-server profile

  • Added support for displaying the moderator who voided a case. The case and modlogs commands will show you which moderator voided the case.

Please note: This only affects cases voided after this update.

  • The moderations command will now show the case number for each pending moderation.
  • You can now use help custom to list all of your Custom Commands, just like you can for any other command category.
  • If a server admin runs help custom when there are no commands set up, a button will appear which will take them straight to the custom command creation modal. Similarly, if an admin runs help [custom command name] and there is no help info set up for that command, a button will appear which will take them to the command editor so that they can add a description and/or usages/examples to the custom command.

Circle will ONLY show the Custom Commands which the user running the help command has permissions to use.

  • Servers that use the PluralKit bot can now enjoy full "Log Cleanup" support (if you're unsure what PluralKit is, this doesn't apply to your server).

Automod Updates

  • [NEW] 2 new automod filters:
  1. "No Headers": Stops users from using Discord header markdown.
  2. "Max Message Length": Allows you to specify how long messages can be in your server. Don't want users being able to send messages with over 1000 letters?? Use this filter for that.
  • [NEW] You can now choose any moderation command when someone triggers an Automod filter. You used to be able to limited to only temporarily muting or banning users, but now you can temporarily mute/ban, permanently mute/ban, kick, softban or log a warning when users violate your automod settings.

If you are using the "Use Discords timeout feature to mute users" moderation option, you will not be able to permanently timeout users, due to Discord limitations.

  • You are no longer limited to 1 week when temporarily muting/banning users. You can now temporarily mute or ban someone for up to 4 weeks.

Moderation Updates

  • Made the case command a little neater.
  • The case && void command now has a "Jump to modlog" button, allowing you to jump to the relevant modlog for that case.
  • The modstats command now shows automatic kicks, softbans & warnings, inline with the Automod updates which allows you to tell Circle to automatically kick, softban or warn users for triggering your filters too many times.

Starboard Updates

  • "Super Reaction Value"! Allows you to choose how many reactions a super reaction should count towards the Starboard "Required Reactions". For example, if your reaction requirement is set to 4, and your "Super Reaction Value" is set to 2, 2 users could react to a message with super reactions to send that message to the starboard, or 2 users could react to it with regular reactions and then 1 user could react with a super reaction to send it to the starboard.

The super reaction must still be your Starboard reaction emoji for super reactions to count towards the reaction requirement.

  • Made the Starboard plugin page look a little neater on mobile devices.

QOL Improvements & Fixes

  • [PREMIUM] Made Premium use the per-server avatar (if one is set) in command responses that use Circle's avatar.
  • Fixed the embed previewer across all plugins (Auto Reply, Custom Commands, Reaction Roles, Recurring Reminders, Welcome).
  • All plugin pages on the website now have a "DOCS" button to take you to the relevant documentation page, if you ever need a little extra help.
  • All documentation pages have also been updated with more information and any missing settings, and they're a little neater too
  • Fixed the Reaction Roles plugin not allowing you to make changes to a reaction role if there was a role saved that you have deleted since setting up the reaction role.
  • Fixed the moderations permanent command showing temporary timeouts.
  • Fixed snoozing reminders not sending a confirmation message, even though the reminder was successfully snoozed.
  • Fixed the {time} variable not working when specifying an exact unix time.
  • Fixed a bypass with the "Invite Links" Automod filter.

ALL BUG FIXES WERE RELEASED TO CIRCLE PREMIUM AS SOON AS THEY WERE FIXED AND TESTED!
